I've been getting many of my supplements and health products from iHerb ever since I found out I was pregnant. They have a good range of items to choose from and the prices can sometimes be cheaper than local sites like Shopee and Lazada during their sitewide sales.
I'm going to share here my favourite items to buy from iHerb.
Garden of Life, Vitamin Code, RAW Prenatal
I've been taking this prenatal vitamin since the 2nd trimester. In the first trimester I bought those huge hard tablets as I didn't know there were other options. I couldn't swallow big tablets and had to chew/break them into smaller pieces. The results? More nausea as the taste was gross. It was a game changer once I found these Garden of Life capsules as I could open it and poor out the content into my drink! Thanks to this, I no longer dread my daily multivite session. I'm still taking this now as I breastfeed.
California Gold Nutrition, Baby Vitamin D3 Liquid, 10 mcg (400 IU)
Our PD recommended us to give our baby Vitamin D since breastmilk doesn't have sufficient Vitamin D. I tried a few brands and this turned out to be our favourite since the dosage of 400IU per doctor's advice and it's just 1 drop per day. We have tried others which requires a syringe which is a hassle to measure and wash after.
Wiley's Finest, Wild Alaskan Fish Oil, Prenatal DHA
This fish oil specifically caters to pregnant and breastfeeding mamas and is my preferred brand. I take one a day and there's no fishy smell. Yay!
NOW Foods, Calcium & Magnesium with Vitamin D-3 and Zinc, Softgels
I found a Calcium supplement that does not come in gigantic hard tablets! These are softgels where I can bite and suck out the content. The dosage is 3 gels per day. Calcium is important when breastfeeding, so this is a must for me!These are my favourite items from iHerb, hope you found this list useful for your shopping spree!
